The Detroit Pistons are still a long way off from being playoff contenders.
They have some powerful young stars on the roster, as well as a few vets who know their way around the court, but that isn’t enough to make them a true force in the East.
Still, they are a blast to watch at times – including on Monday night when they almost took down the Milwaukee Bucks in a rather close and exciting game.

One of the reasons why the team is fun right now is Bojan Bogdanovic, the veteran forward who has been putting up some wildly impressive numbers since joining the team in Motor City.
Over his last five games, Bogdanovic has scored 25, 33, 22, 21, and 23 points while never dropping below a 47.7% field goal percentage.
When Bogdanovic was signed by the Pistons, fans were hoping this is the sort of work he’d be doing.
He’s adding a lot to the team right off the bat and he’s teaching some of the younger players how to take down opponents.
Bogey Bringing The Heat
Bogdanovic has made his way all over the league since joining back in 2011.
He has made an impact for the Brooklyn Nets, Washington Wizards, Indiana Pacers, and Utah Jazz.
He was particularly loved when playing in Utah, where he was scoring double-digits every night and became part of the team’s starting five.
At this point in his career, Bogdanovic’s skills speak for themselves.
But his expertise and experience and knowledge of the game will really come in handy, especially since he playing with one of the youngest squads in the league now.
Pistons stars like Cade Cunningham and Jaden Ivey should soak up every bit of mentorship that Bogdanovic is willing to give.
