Quentin Grimes recently moved from the New York Knicks to the Detroit Pistons and is excited about the opportunities that await him.
Speaking to James L. Edwards III and the media, Grimes talked about how quickly things have moved and the fun he is hoping to have with the Pistons.
Grimes said:
“Yeah, It’s been pretty fast. It kind of happened right away, I got to get used to the team. I know most of the guys on the team already. I’m really excited to be here to kind of get to know everybody, know the plays and just know Coach (Monty) Williams and stuff like that. It should be really fun.”

Getting used to the Pistons isn’t going to be a small task as there is a lot that he has to learn and adapt to.
The Knicks are one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference and the Pistons most definitely are not.
This season, the Knicks hold a 33-20 record while the Pistons are the worst in the conference at 8-44.
As for Grimes, he is averaging 7.3 points, 2 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game on 36.3% from the floor and 36.3% from the three-point line.
The chances of the Pistons recovering this season and making the playoffs are gone but the future could be bright in Detroit if the team continues to make some changes.
That means that Grimes could be part of something special, just not right away.
Although Grimes was traded to the Pistons last week, he hasn’t been able to play a game with his new team.
He will likely first suit up for the team on Tuesday night as they face the Los Angeles Lakers.
