There was a time earlier this season when the Detroit Pistons were quite literally making NBA history with their number of consecutive losses.
And while they are still one of the worst teams in the league, the Pistons have made at least some progress.
As pointed out by Basketball Reference, the Pistons have won three of their last four games.
This is the first time in nearly two years that they’ve won at least three games in any four-game span.

Since last Thursday, the Pistons have beaten the Brooklyn Nets, Charlotte Hornets, and Toronto Raptors.
Meanwhile, they have been defeated by the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday.
At this point, any win is impressive for the Pistons but these three have been particularly interesting.
They haven’t been especially close and they actually beat the Hornets by 17 points.
Does that mean the Pistons are finally figuring things out right as the season starts to come to a close?
It’s not entirely clear and obviously, their chance of reaching the playoffs is gone.
But if they can assemble some victories, it might give fans something to believe in for next season.
Through all of the troubles the team has had, no one can deny that there is a lot of talent on the roster.
However, it just hasn’t come together with many victories.
This season is pretty much over for the Pistons but these three wins could be a glimpse of what’s to come in the years ahead.
Next up for the Pistons are the Miami Heat twice, followed by the Boston Celtics and Indiana Pacers.
What are the chances of them securing at least a few more wins over the next week?
