The Detroit Pistons are on the verge of having the worst record in a single season in NBA history.
And while that could be hard to explain, considering they do have some promising young players, they’ve also been hard to watch at times.
That became evident in a now-viral clip shared by Bleacher Report.
The Pistons had one of the most head-scratching turnovers we’ve ever seen, with Killian Hayes giving Jalen Duren the ball on an inbounds play, and then Duren stepping out of bounds, thinking he was actually the one who was supposed to inbound the basketball.
The Pistons coaches couldn't believe this turnover 😅 pic.twitter.com/K1wraxgQUZ

Unsurprisingly, not even the Pistons’ coaches could believe what they saw.
The Pistons wound up blowing a late-game lead to the Houston Rockets to continue yet another losing streak, which has now reached seven games.
Truth be told, it’s hard to envision Monty Williams keeping his job after this season, and he might not be the only one to be shown the door at the end of the year.
This team looks lost, and their body language shows just how hopeless they’ve become.
Granted that losing Cade Cunningham again was a big blow to their aspirations, but they were losing games even without him.
The Pistons were supposed to be on the right path with this plethora of youth and their rebuilding process.
But it’s evident that something has to change now, as losing habits tend to snowball, and it will be hard to shake off those habits later in their development.
