The NBA season is still young and a lot can change between now and the playoffs but Sacramento Kings fans are feeling something they haven’t in years.
Kings fans are feeling hope.
That’s because their team is actually playing well for the first time in ages.
In fact, they aren’t just playing well – on some nights, they are playing downright amazingly.

The Kings are currently on a four-game winning streak.
Over the last four games, they have taken down the Brooklyn Nets, reigning champion Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, and Cleveland Cavaliers.
Because of several players and a new coaching scheme from Mike Brown, the Kings are now the eighth seed in the West with a 7-6 record.
It’s time to ask: is Sacramento a playoff team?
A Thriving Kingdom In Sacramento
The Kings did a lot of work in the last few months.
Last season, they traded for Domantas Sabonis and then they acquired Kevin Huerter, Malik Monk, and others in the summer.
And the hiring of Brown was also a big move for the team, one that is seemingly paying off.
Alongside De’Aaron Fox, Terence Davis, Harrison Barnes, and Davion Mitchell, this Kings team feels special and different than what has come before.
However, some fans are nervous that this is just a brief strong moment for the season – they fear that the team might not have what it takes to last all year long.
But if the team continues to perform as they have over the last few weeks, good things will be ahead for the Kings.
It’s been a painfully long time since Sacramento had a playoff appearance.
That really might finally change this year.
