On Wednesday night, the Sacramento Kings once again faced off against the Los Angeles Lakers.
And, once again, the Kings reigned supreme.
Following the 120-107 victory, Domantas Sabonis of the Kings talked about his 10-0 record against Lakers big man Anthony Davis.
“I don’t pay attention to that. The more you guys bring attention to that, it makes my life harder. If anything, it will light a fire under him, so stop mentioning anything, please,” Sabonis said, as shared by Basketball On X.

Wednesday night was not a great one for the Lakers or Davis.
Although he scored 22 points and 10 rebounds, that really paled in comparison to Sabonis’ 17 points, 19 rebounds, and 10 assists.
Davis had 3 offensive rebounds and 7 defensive ones, while Sabonis had 5 offensive rebounds and 14 defensive ones.
Those defensive rebounds made a huge difference for the Kings and really limited the Lakers.
Over the last two seasons, Sabonis has averaged 19.5 points against Davis, who has put up 25.3 against the Kings star.
However, when it comes to rebounds and assists, Sabonis has conquered Davis and, therefore, the Lakers.
This is a big problem for LA because the Kings are only getting better and are proving that they could be a big presence in the Western Conference for years to come.
Additionally, there is a chance that the Lakers could battle the Kings in the Play-In Tournament.
If that does happen, fans will get a chance to see if Sabonis can continue his undefeated streak against Davis.
