Don’t look now but one of the most troubled NBA franchises of all time might be finding its rhythm.
People have given the Sacramento Kings a hard time for decades now – and they have mostly deserved it.
Again and again, fans of the team have said that things were about to turn around and brighter days were ahead.
That might really be true now.

It’s too soon to tell but there are signs of potential and power on the current Kings roster.
The team has won their last three games and their last six of eight games.
On Sunday night, they had their most impressive win yet, taking down the reigning NBA champion Golden State Warriors in a huge 122-115 triumph.
What is making this team so special?
Is this really the season fans have been waiting for?
Kings Coming Back
The Kings haven’t made the playoffs since the 2005-2006 season.
Their 17-year drought is the longest in NBA history but it could end this year.
Right now, the Kings are 9th in the West with a 6-6 record.
They will have to keep it up all season long if they wish to make the playoffs.
The good news for Sacramento is that the NBA play-in tournament is here to stay, meaning teams ranked 7 through 10 will be able to battle it out for the last postseason spots.
So even if the team isn’t in the top eight they might find some playoff success.
New head coach Mike Brown has had a lot of luck with his roster, including breakout showings from Domantas Sabonis, De’Aaron Fox, Keegan Murray, Kevin Huerter, and others.
This is a good team of young, driven players who are putting the franchise’s past behind them.
