The modern-day NBA demands players to be great shooters to flourish in the league.
Every team in the league always welcomes players who can be excellent three-point shooters.
The Sacramento Kings added Sasha Vezenkov to improve the team’s long-range shooting ahead of the 2023-24 NBA season.
While not many have heard of Vezenkov, Kings star De’Aaron Fox spoke highly of him, via Frankie Cartoscelli on Twitter.
De’Aaron Fox says that Sasha Vezenkov is up there with “the best shooters in the world.”
Fox said that during a recent three-point drill, he watched Vezenkov miss just 7 shots out of 150.

Fox labeled Vezenkov as one of the best shooters in the world despite never playing even a single game in the NBA.
Vezenkov apparently missed just 7 out of 150 shots he took during a recent three-point drill with the Kings.
Now, that’s one way to hype a player before making his NBA debut.
While Vezenkov is technically a rookie, he was drafted as the 57th overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft by the Brooklyn Nets.
Unfortunately, he never made the team’s final roster for the season.
Since then, Vezenkov has certainly worked a lot on his game and will make his NBA debut as a 28-year-old this season.
If Vezenkov is truly an elite shooter like Fox describes him to be, the Kings have a great addition ahead of the 2023-24 NBA season.
Last season was special for the Kings as they finally ended their painful playoff drought.
While the Kings were eliminated in six games against the Golden State Warriors in the first round of the postseason, it was still better than missing it altogether.
