Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks knows a thing or two about making people upset and pushing buttons.
Throughout his career, he has embraced the role of the villain against his opponents, especially the New York Knicks.
Because of Young’s experience getting under the skin of other people, he had some advice for Chris Rock after the comedian was slapped in the face by Will Smith at Sunday night’s Oscars ceremony.
Chris gotta do somethin back😂😂🤦🏽♂️

Taking to Twitter after the incident, Young put it simply: “Chris gotta do something back.”
It’s not surprising that Young felt retribution was necessary – you’d expect no less from him.

Young is one of the best shooters in the league and someone capable of some incredible, jaw-dropping shots.
That’s only one of the reasons why so many fans throughout the NBA hate seeing him go against their favorite team.
Young is a great trash talker – and not just to the guys he’s competing against.
He has been known to trade barbs with the fans in the stands too and isn’t against adding salt to the wounds of his opponents.
And when push comes to shove, he’s ready to shove back.
That sort of attitude and competitiveness is a lot of fun to watch but it doesn’t always win games.
In fact, Young’s Hawks aren’t having a stellar season right now and currently sit at tenth in the East with a 37-37 record.
For the season, Young is averaging 28.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 9.5 assists a game – all incredible stats.
But will that be enough to get his team into the postseason?
He might be great at angering his opponents but, in the end, they might get the last laugh if the Hawks don’t make the playoffs.
