The Atlanta Hawks haven’t seen a lot of success over the past few seasons outside of their 2021 Eastern Conference Finals run.
The lack of success for the franchise shocks many, as the Hawks currently have Trae Young on the roster, who is regarded as one of the best point guards in the league.
Considering Young is already in the sixth season of his NBA career, many rumors have emerged about the 25-year-old superstar potentially searching for a move away from the team in the upcoming offseason.
Keeping that in mind, many are in search of an answer from Young regarding his future with the franchise.
Well, Young gave a cryptic answer to the topic, via Bleacher Report on Twitter.
“I wanna win… if that’s in Atlanta, that’s where I wanna be,” Young said.

Finding a loyal superstar in the modern era of the NBA has become a herculean task for franchises.
However, the Hawks have seemingly found that player in Young.
As a result, if Young decides to pursue the rest of his career somewhere else it could lead to the Hawks entering a rebuilding phase.
Speaking of Young’s answer about his future with the team, the veteran guard mentioned that he simply wants to win in the league.
Young claimed that he will stay in Atlanta if it allows him to win an NBA Championship during his career.
Considering the fact that Young didn’t give a solid answer about his plans to stay with the team, it will certainly concern the fanbase in the summer of 2024.
After all, the Hawks are currently the 10th seed in the Eastern Conference despite Young averaging 26.4 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 10.8 assists per game for the team.
