The Sacramento Kings have experienced a few ups and downs recently but they are still having a season far better than anything in their recent past.
They are the 5th team in the West with a 21-18 record and have beaten some of the best teams in the league this season, including the Denver Nuggets, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Memphis Grizzlies.
Monday night was perhaps one of their greatest nights yet and it led to a brand-new record.
The Kings have set a new franchise-record for 3s made in a game (23) 🤯

The Kings sank a franchise-high 23 three-pointers in their 136-111 victory over the Orlando Magic.
It seemed like everyone got in on the act on Monday, with Trey Lyles, Kevin Huerter, Domantas Sabonis, and De’Aaron Fox among the guys who landed their treys.
But it was Keegan Murray and Harrison Barnes who did the most from downtown: Murray was good for 5 and Barnes nailed 6 of his 7 three-pointers.
This was yet another amazing night for the Kings.
Again and again this season, the team has played with serious youthful energy and enthusiasm and skill.
Not only are they doing very well, but they are also incredibly fun to watch too.
Seemingly overnight, the Kings have become a must-watch team.
Now the question is just how far they can go this year.
5th place is must higher than they’ve been in nearly 20 years but can they rise even higher or is this their ceiling for 2022-23?
Obviously, fans of the team want to see their squad go very far but competition will only get tougher as the season goes on.
Even a playoff appearance would be a huge victory for this team, who has been in a postseason drought for ages.
If they keep playing like this, the Kings might not have a ceiling.
