NBA preseason games have officially begun.
The majority of teams have rolled out their starters for a few minutes in these games, allowing them to play together.
While this has finally provided basketball content for NBA fans who have waited a long time for some action, there has already been some on-court drama.
Dillon Brooks was ejected from the Houston Rockets‘ game against the Indiana Pacers, causing quite a stir.
Brooks was asked about his ejection in a postgame interview provided by Rockets reporter, Jackson Gatlin.
In this interview, Brooks referred to himself as “Dillon the Villain.”

Brooks was ejected three times last season, which tied the league-leading amount.
He was a member of the Memphis Grizzlies last season, establishing himself as a role player alongside Ja Morant.
He has an opportunity to make a name for himself in Houston, perhaps earning a larger role on their roster than he had in Memphis.
However, getting ejected, especially in the preseason, isn’t exactly helping his cause.
Given his career history with ejections, this didn’t help Brooks’ career in Houston off on the right foot.
He’ll now have to work extra diligently to let his teammates and coaches know that he’s trying to turn over a new leaf.
Hopefully, this ejection trend does not continue for Brooks.
The best ability in the NBA is availability.
If he’s not available due to ejections, he can’t help out his teammates when they need him most.
