After a pretty lackluster season, the Houston Rockets have come alive lately and actually have a shot at securing a spot in the upcoming Play-In Tournament.
If that happens, it’ll partly be because of the hard work and skill of Jalen Green.
As pointed out by Hoop Muse, Green has been fantastic during his last ten games, scoring 26.5 points, 5.9 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 3.6 made three-pointers during that time.
He has shot 50/39/78% over the last ten games and the Rockets have won seven games in a row.

For the season, Green has averaged 19.2 points, 5 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game.
For much of the year, some Rockets fans have been disappointed in Green, whose output has actually decreased.
But it’s important to remember that Green is attempting to fit into a new roster that features other players like Fred VanVleet and Dillon Brooks.
Additionally, new head coach Ime Udoka has pointed the team in a different direction and that means Green hasn’t been called upon as frequently as he was in previous seasons.
However, Green has been flourishing lately and the team is benefitting from his recent surge.
The Rockets have a 34-35 record right now, which puts them in 11th place in the West.
However, the tenth-seed Golden State Warriors have a 36-32 record and the ninth-seed Los Angeles Lakers are just slightly ahead of that with 37-32.
That means that if either the Warriors or Lakers slip up and lose a few games as the Rockets continue to accumulate big wins, Houston could reach the Play-In Tournament.
That would be a major success for a team that many people had written off just weeks ago.
Green is hitting his stride at the perfect time and that could pave a path to the postseason for his team.
