No one is going to deny the fact that the Chicago Bulls are not playing as well as they should be.
Just last year, the team looked like real playoff contenders during the regular season, only to collapse in the playoffs and disappoint fans who were expecting so much.
At the center of the team’s success was DeMar DeRozan, who was an MVP candidate last year.
This year, DeRozan is still trying his best and playing quite well, and putting up some of the best numbers of his career.
And yet, his Bulls are still struggling.

Therefore, Chris Haynes is reporting that if things don’t get better this season for the Bulls, “rival executives believe it could lead star guard DeMar DeRozan to request to be moved in the offseason.”
Losing DeRozan would take things from bad to worse for the Bulls.
But the chances of things getting good enough to convince him to stay are getting slimmer and slimmer by the day.
The Bruised & Battered Bulls
Chicago is in bad shape right now: the team is currently 11th in the East with a 13-18 record.
Bad injuries and bad luck have plagued them, who feel incredibly far away from even coming close to the playoffs right now.
The idea of moving DeRozan has been floated around recently by insiders and there have been rumors of other players – such as Alex Caruso and especially Zach LaVine – leaving the squad.
If the team lost DeRozan, you can expect the front office would shed other players too in an attempt to start a full-on rebuild.
The loss of the five-time All-Star would be a huge blow to the Bulls, who were looking and playing so great at this time last season.
