The Chicago Bulls wanted to make Lonzo Ball their next great point guard.
The early returns were encouraging, and there was a point in which they had the best record in the Eastern Conference.
Fast forward to today, and there are serious questions if Lonzo will ever suit up for the team again or if he’ll be able to play at all.
According to a report by Joe Cowley, the former lottery pick is still unable to sprint (via Legion Hoops).
Lonzo Ball is still unable to sprint, per @JCowleyHoops.

Lonzo has been out since midway through January 2022, and he was ruled out of the 2023-24 season long before it started, which wasn’t a good omen.
Stephen A. Smith claimed that Ball had trouble getting up from a sitting position, to which he posted a video trying to prove him wrong.
Now, this isn’t a good look for the former UCLA standout.
The NBA world continues to be intrigued by Lonzo’s injury, as he should’ve been back on the court years ago, yet he can’t seem to shake the pain away.
At this point, it seems like the talented point guard will never be able to play in the league again, and even if that’s not the case, he might never be the same player.
