Andre Drummond of the Chicago Bulls has been having one of his best seasons in years, averaging 8.1 points and 8.6 rebounds per game while coming off the bench.
So it’s no surprise that other teams have been interested in acquiring Drummond.
According to Michael Scotto, per SportsRadio 94WIP, the Philadelphia 76ers thought that they had a trade deal done to land Drummond before the Bulls pulled out of talks just hours before the recent NBA trade deadline.
The Bulls reportedly wanted three second-round picks for Drummond.

It makes sense that the 76ers were eager to get Drummond, his size, and his skills.
This was right around the time when the team was coming to terms with the fact that they might be without their star player, Joel Embiid, for an extended amount of time.
At 6-foot-11 and 279 pounds, Drummond could have quite literally been a huge presence on the court and in the paint.
Three second-round picks aren’t a huge request so the 76ers likely would have been able to put a deal together.
But before they had the chance, the Bulls decided they weren’t interested in the trade and pulled out of talks.
Perhaps they felt they wanted to keep Drummond for the rest of the season or maybe they felt they could get more for him from another team.
In the end, the Bulls didn’t make any moves at the trade deadline, upsetting many of their fans who are tired of seeing the team struggle.
As for the 76ers, they are trying to get by without Embiid and the help they would have received from Drummond.
