The Chicago Bulls most likely have some regrets about the investment they made in Lonzo Ball.
He was great for them for a handful of games, but it’s been more than two years since he was able to play.
There have been several reports about his physical condition, and they haven’t exactly been encouraging.
That’s why it was kind of shocking to see a now-viral clip of him dunking, shared by Swish Cultures (via NBA Central).

Notably, the timing of this video is strange.
Earlier in the week, there was a report claiming that he wasn’t able to sprint yet.
The same thing happened when ESPN pundit Stephen A. Smith reported that he had trouble standing up from a sitting position, to which he responded with a clip of himself standing up multiple times.
Truth be told, it’s hard to know what to believe at this point.
Sprinting and dunking aren’t the same thing, and while watching him dunk is obviously encouraging, that doesn’t mean he’s anywhere close to making a return to the court.
Doctors have reportedly been baffled by his recurring knee issues, and some believe he might never be able to play again, at least not at the same level.
Hopefully, Lonzo will be able to put all these woes behind him and get back on the court, as he’s missed so much time in his promising career with countless ailments.
But if he’s as hurt as they say he is, he should stop trying to prove people wrong and just focus on taking care of his body and getting back to full strength.
