When someone writes the book on this season for the Chicago Bulls there will be quite a long chapter about DeMar DeRozan.
Mr. Fourth Quarter was on fire again on Thursday night, scoring a season-high 50 points as his Bulls took down the Los Angeles Clippers, 135-130 in overtime.
DeRozan refused to slow down and actually scored 17 points in the fourth quarter, before adding 10 more in overtime to help lead the Bulls to a 16-point second-half comeback.

Following the game, the team celebrated DeRozan in the locker room, dousing him in water and cheering him on.
Fellow player Alex Caruso retweeted a video of the event, calling DeRozan an “assassin.”
DeRozan certainly is an assassin and will need to remain one if the Bulls want to make it far in the playoffs.
Dangerous DeRozan
Thursday night was actually the second time in his career that DeRozan scored 50 points, the first being back at the beginning of 2018.
But this big night happens as his current team is on the verge of postseason greatness.
The Bulls are fifth in the East, which is a far cry from the number one spot they had a few months ago.
That means that they will need to give it literally all they’ve got in the weeks ahead to overcome the tough competition in the East.
DeRozan will be a huge part of that.
Not only is he the point leader for Chicago, DeRozan is also in charge of making plays and dictating the tempo, and generally guiding the team.
DeRozan is intent on getting his team deep in the playoffs and has been all year.
With DeRozan at the helm, this is the best Bulls team in years and now it’s time to see just how far they can go.
