Andre Drummond of the Chicago Bulls is known as a big man capable of getting fired up in the paint, blocking shots, and defending for his team.
He is not, however, known as an outstanding three-point shooter.
But, he was showing that skill on Sunday night and the fact that he was going hard from downtown has Bulls fans talking.

Drummond was in fact very good from the three-point line on Sunday, going 3-for-3 with those shots.
This is something we rarely ever see from Drummond, especially at this point in his career.
Is he turning over a new leaf and entering a new phase of his NBA tenure or was this just a fluke?
What should the Bulls expect from him?
Drummond From Downtown
For his career, Drummond has a three-point average of just 13.2%.
So, to see him make all three of those shots on Sunday was quite impressive and a side of the player that fans rarely ever experience.
However, one shouldn’t expect that much three-point output from him in the months ahead.
Drummond wasn’t signed to be a three-point shooter – he was signed to play to his strengths of defending and scoring down low.
Sure, the Bulls will get any three-pointers they can from him but that’s certainly not what they are planning.
Instead, Chicago will leave the threes to people like DeMar DeRozan and Lonzo Ball (when he returns).
Meanwhile, Drummond can continue to grab his career-average 13.3 rebounds a game.
He was showing a new side of himself on Sunday and it got Bulls fans up on their feet.
But it’s unlikely that Drummond will become a new three-point champion for his team.
