After 23 seasons, Tom Brady’s storied NFL career is finally over, and he has left NFL fans with tons of indelible memories.
Although he didn’t look like his vintage self this season, his throwing form still remained intact, and NFL films captured his last deep pass, which still looked fundamentally excellent.

With seven Super Bowl championships, three regular season MVP awards, five Super Bowl MVPs and the consensus acknowledgment that he’s the greatest player in league history, Brady has a legacy that may not be matched for many decades.
But this season was an uncharacteristically rough one for him.
His Tampa Bay Buccaneers went just 8-9, but they still made the playoffs thanks to a frightfully weak NFC South, only to lose soundly to the Dallas Cowboys in the wild-card round, 31-14.
After leading the NFL in passing yards (5,316) and passing touchdowns (43) in 2021, Brady was down to 4,694 yards and 25 touchdowns this season, but that didn’t tell the whole story.
He was often unable to work his old magic for a team that had solid weapons in wide receivers Chris Godwin and Mike Evans, and he showed his frustration many times on the sidelines, something he rarely did in past seasons.
The question now is what will come next for Brady.
Last year, he announced he was retiring, only to decide to return for one more season just over a month later, which has some wondering if he may change his mind again.
But after a usually difficult 2022 season, it looks more likely he will stay retired this time around.
