Once again, Tom Brady’s future was the main topic of discussion in the National Football League.
The fans didn’t want to believe he was done just yet, and analysts were speculating his next move, with the Las Vegas Raiders, San Francisco 49ers, and even New York Jets as potential destinations.
But after some consideration, the seven-time Super Bowl champion has decided to walk away from the game, this time for good.
And while that may have been a surprise to some of us, his father recently claimed that he had known it for the past week.
Brady’s father stated that he would’ve loved to see his son playing for his hometown San Francisco 49ers, the team he grew up rooting for.
Tom Brady Sr said his son informed him about a week ago that he is done. “We would’ve enjoyed him playing in San Francisco, but we’re much happier with his decision doing this than playing for the 49ers.” https://t.co/UgSQ5tseat

Nonetheless, he added that they’re happier with him making this decision and finally taking some time for himself.
Ironically, Brady’s decision to come back for another year is rumored to be the catalyst behind his divorce from Gisele Bundchen.
The Brazilian supermodel reportedly wanted him to stop playing and putting his body and risk, spending more time with the family instead.
Brady felt like he had unfinished business in the league and wanted to give it another shot at winning an eighth championship, but that was far from the case.
Still, people won’t remember Brady for his final season, the divorce controversy, or even the deflate-gate scandal.
Long before he’s gone, the fans will continue to rave about him for being one of the greatest competitors in sports history and, perhaps, even the greatest player this game has ever seen.
