There are few guys in the NBA like Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks.
Statistically, there might be other guards who play better than him but in terms of personality, charisma, and flare, not many athletes can rival him.
This is always on display when he’s weaving past his opponents.

Ben Stinar recalled an occasion when he sped past former NBA great J.J. Redick in a very showy, flashy way.
He dribbled the ball between his legs and left Redick completely flabbergasted and seemingly confused as Young raced to the bucket.
Young has done this again and again throughout his time in the league and it’s one of the reasons why his fans love him – and his opponents’ fans hate him.
Young & Fun
Young’s average in the 2021-22 season was 28.4 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 9.7 assists.
That’s actually a step up from the season before but Young was somewhat overlooked in 2021-22 because his Hawks were off their game for most of the year.
They (barely) made the playoffs and then got pushed out early and never really worked well.
The Hawks were a far cry from the team they were in 2020-21, despite Young’s phenomenal work on the floor.
In the upcoming season, Young will return and definitely wants to prove himself again.
Meanwhile, the team has made some changes, including the major acquisition of Dejounte Murray.
Murray’s inclusion has many Hawks fans really excited because he will make the team bigger, stronger, and possibly much better.
Two seasons ago, Atlanta surprised the league and was something of a Cinderella story.
It’ll take a lot of work to do that again but they are positioned well to have another breakout season.
