Did you know that Clint Capela of the Atlanta Hawks is one of the best rebounders in the NBA?
His 11.9 rebounds per game match Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks and are actually better than those of Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets.
In addition to that, Capela is good for 12 points a game and a 63.6% field goal percentage.
As you’d expect, the Hawks surely miss him when he’s gone.

Now, after 10 games out with a left calf injury, Capela intends to return to the court for his team’s match against the Miami Heat on Monday night.
The Hawks are more than ready to see their big man suited up again because their season has been full of starts and stops and peaks and valleys.
They are the 9th team in the East and have suffered serious consistency problems, even with newcomer Dejounte Murray fitting into rotation like a hand in a glove.
Capela is one of the few Hawks players who has improved since last season, with his field goal percentage bumping up from 61.3% last season.
Just a few seasons ago, Capela led the league in rebounds and it’s no surprise that when he was doing that, the Hawks were playoff contenders who made it all the way to the Eastern Conference Finals.
The Hawks have lost six of their last ten games without Capela so there is hope that he can help them win more now that he’s back.
In the days ahead, the Hawks will battle against not only the Heat but also the Dallas Mavericks and New York Knicks.
That means that Capela will be returning to a few must-win games.
If Trae Young also comes back from injury on Monday then the Hawks could be celebrating Capela’s return with a W.
