We may see some substantial NBA trades this weekend, as Friday marks the day when players who signed contracts as free agents in the summer are eligible to be sent away.
According to Yahoo, that means that 81 different players could be moved around the league starting Friday, although it remains to be seen just how many transactions are made.
One team that might be in the hunt for someone new is the Toronto Raptors, who have allegedly been contemplating some major changes for a while now.
According to Jake Fischer, via NBACentral, the Raptors may target Keegan Murray of the Sacramento Kings and might offer either Pascal Siakam or OG Anunoby.

According to Fischer’s report, both Sacramento and Toronto are teams hoping to grab some more talent for their rosters.
Sacramento did this a few seasons ago when they traded away Tyrese Haliburton for Domantas Sabonis, which worked out quite well for them.
Although the Raptors might want Murray, it sounds like the Kings aren’t too keen on the concept of losing him.
Officials in Sacramento view Murray as a “critical swing piece in their lineup between bookends Sabonis and De’Aaron Fox,” so they will likely hold onto Murray.
But they would apparently be open to the idea of sending away Davion Mitchell instead.
However, it’s unlikely that Mitchell would be enough for the Raptors to trade Siakam or Anunoby.
Even before this season began, fans had heard rumors of the Raptors cutting ties with Siakam, Anunoby, or both.
This weekend marks the team’s biggest chance of finally trading one or both of these players away in hopes of improving their record.
But will any other teams want to do business with them?
