The Toronto Raptors acquired one of the most sought-after free agents of the last offseason in a trade.
Bruce Brown was the icing on the cake of the Pascal Siakam trade, which also got them plenty of draft capital.
He’s been tangled up in multiple trade rumors since arriving up north, and he’s reportedly worth at least another first-round pick.
With that in mind, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports that the Raptors are very likely to move him before the trade deadline (via Evan Sidery).
It’s “very likely” Bruce Brown will be traded from the Raptors this week, per @wojespn (https://t.co/FZu1bY14Te).

Brown played a pivotal role in the Denver Nuggets’ championship run.
Whether it was starting or coming off the bench, he played big minutes and was usually a part of their closing lineups, earning a huge pay raise in the offseason.
Brown has proven that he can guard multiple positions, being a lockdown stopper in the backcourt and even holding his own against bigger opposition.
He’s also played all over the court on offense, even lining up at center for the Brooklyn Nets a couple of times.
While not a superstar, he’s the kind of galvanizer and two-way catalyst that could turn a very good team into a legitimate championship contender.
The Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks are reportedly keeping tabs on him, although the Nuggets were also interested in a reunion.
The trade deadline is closing in, and there should be more updates about this matter, but the Raptors would be wise to make the most of his trade value while it’s still this high and get even more draft capital.
