The Atlanta Hawks were very unhappy with how this season came to an end – and they’re already looking ahead to next year.
Thankfully, it sounds like one of their star players will be ready to suit up when the season begins.

The Hawks just reported that guard Bogdan Bogdanovic successfully underwent surgery on his right patella tendon to take care of knee inflammation.
Good news for Hawks fans: Bogdanovic is expected to rehabilitate during the offseason and will likely make a full recovery before the regular season begins.
The Hawks need all the help they can get if they want next season to be better.
That means they’ll need Bogdanovic to be healthy and ready to play.
Soaring Hawks
Atlanta was taken down easily by the Miami Heat in the opening round of the NBA playoffs this year.
They only secured one win before heading home for the summer.
That marked the end of a troubled season that looked wildly different from what came last year.
In the previous season, the Hawks were surging and entered the playoffs as a Cinderella story.
However, this year they looked like a completely different team.
They were continually getting shut down by other teams, their offense was a mess, and their defense was completely absent.
They were lucky to even make the playoffs.
A lot will need to change with the Hawks because they have way more potential than this.
They have some immensely talented players on their roster, including legitimate superstar Trae Young.
Bogdanovic has done some impressive work for the team too, putting up 15.1 points, 4 rebounds, and 3.1 assists this season.
The team needs to get it together and refine its talent – a healthy Bogdonavic will be part of that.
