It’s been more than a year but the New Orleans Pelicans are about to get an eyeful of their favorite star player once again.
In just a few days, Zion Williamson will officially return to the court.
It’s been a long time since anyone has seen Williamson play and that’s a shame because he was one of the most promising young players in the league before injuries sidelined him.
But now he sounds like he will be back and bigger and better than ever before.

Speaking about his return to the NBA, Williamson promised a lot.
He is guaranteeing that his followers are about to see a side of him that he’s never shown before:
“They’re also gonna see that my game has evolved. I’m gonna show the world things that I’ve had in my arsenal that I didn’t show before.”
If Williamson really is better than he has been, that will be something stunning and special.
Williamson could be having the sort of return breakout season that will have the entire league talking.
The Return Of Williamson
Get a load of these numbers: in 2020-21, Williamson scored 27 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 3.7 assists.
He was a true force of nature on the court, he was sometimes unstoppable when he got moving.
Of course, the foot injury that he encountered at the end of that season stopped him in his tracks.
And then there was the extensive rehabilitation and the rumors about him wanting to leave the Pelicans and all the speculation swirling about his mindset and weight and future.
But that’s all in the past now and Williamson is back in prime form and seems more driven and tuned in than ever before.
