We knew that people were going to be very intrigued by the Cleveland Cavaliers this year.
That is what happens when your team is comprised of some of the best young, up-and-coming players in the league like Darius Garland, Evan Mobley, and others.
But even more people got excited about the Cavs when they signed Donovan Mitchell during the summer.
TickPick reportedly sold 700% more tickets for the Cavaliers this year compared to the same time last year.

The team is generating so much interest, in fact, that TickPick has reportedly sold 700% more tickets for the Cavs this year compared to the same time last year.
That’s a huge jump in popularity and it shows that they might be the most exciting teams in the East.
However, will that translate into a lot of wins in 2022-23?
Cavs Coming Up
Examining this new-look Cavaliers team is truly enticing and most NBA fans agree that they could accomplish great things.
However, fans should be prepared for the team to take time to get into playoff form.
They might not be amazing and jaw-dropping right out of the gate.
It could take them weeks, maybe even months, before they look like the team that people are expecting.
This is only natural, adding a force like Mitchell takes some adjustment, especially for sure a tight and close squad like the Cavs.
However, by the time the playoffs are near, we will have a good idea of what this Cleveland team can do.
The expectations are certainly high but the potential is as well.
It might be too soon for the Cavaliers to go all the way to the 2023 NBA Finals but there is little doubt that they could have a strong regular season and an important presence in the playoffs.
