The Cleveland Cavaliers were defeated by the Phoenix Suns on Monday night, suffering their second straight loss.
The Cavaliers have lost four of their last six games and it has some people worried about what’s ahead for the team.
Speaking on “Run It Back,” Chandler Parsons said that he doesn’t think the Cavaliers are going to make it far in the playoffs this year, mostly because they have lacked consistency due to injuries.
“They just haven’t been healthy,” Parsons said before adding that a particular player’s absence is really hurting them.
“Donovan Mitchell is their everything, and now he’s now missed, I think, his 18th game last night,” he added.
“When you miss that many games, it’s hard to get in a flow,” Parsons said.

Parsons reminded fans that the Cavaliers reached the playoffs last year but they were pushed out in the opening round by the New York Knicks.
He believes a similar fate awaits them this year.
Mitchell really has had a terrific season, averaging 28 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 6.2 assists per game.
Sadly, he is currently out with a knee injury but there is hope that he can come back soon.
There is a lot of speculation about what’s next for Mitchell and if he will elect to stay with the Cavaliers or move to another team this summer.
Parsons said that he hopes Mitchell remains in Cleveland because he thinks the team has a lot of talent and could truly compete in the next few years.
The season isn’t over and the Cavaliers are still the third seed in the East so they certainly shouldn’t be counted out.
However, Parsons believes that the injuries they have suffered have just done too much damage to their chances.
