The Cleveland Cavaliers have suffered a long list of injuries all season long and consistency in the roster has been an issue.
A major part of the team has been Jarrett Allen, the star big man who has helped the team during all their challenges.
Speaking to Hayden Grove, Cavaliers star Darius Garland spoke highly of Allen and all he brings to the team.
“He’s literally our heart and our soul,” Garland said before adding, “He doesn’t even know how much he means to the team.”

For the season, Allen is averaging 16.3 points and 10.8 rebounds per game.
His numbers are up across the board and he has been spoken of as a Defensive Player of the Year candidate.
The competition for that prize is tough and Allen might not be DPOY, but he has cemented his status as perhaps the Cavaliers’ most important player.
A lot of attention is given to Cleveland’s backcourt, with the powerhouse duo of Garland and Donovan Mitchell.
However, the Cavaliers wouldn’t have had the season they did if it wasn’t for Allen and his dominant presence on the floor and his handling of defensive duties.
Against all odds, the Cavaliers have had a strong season and are currently the third seed in the East.
They are doing much better than they have in years and are poised to push into the playoffs.
But fans are nervous because the Cavaliers reached the postseason last year but then got trounced by the New York Knicks in the opening round.
That being said, the Cavaliers have looked better in numerous ways this season so perhaps they won’t suffer a similar fate.
No matter what happens, Allen is sure to be at the center of it all.
