The Indiana Pacers may have won the Domantas Sabonis trade.
Tyrese Haliburton is playing like a generational talent, and he’s leading the league’s most explosive and entertaining offense like a veteran already.
His passing numbers have been absurd, and he has an elite assist-to-turnover ratio.
But more than that, he’s also putting up points by the dozen with ease, and his passing has been so ridiculously good that his scoring has been somewhat overlooked.
With that in mind, NBA analyst Josh Eberley pointed out the fact that Haliburton is currently shooting 42.2% on 7.1 pull-up three-pointers per game.
That’s impressive but even more impressive if you consider the fact that Stephen Curry shot 43.8% on 6.4 triples a night during his unanimous MVP season back in 2015-16.
Tyrese Haliburton is shooting a ridiculous 42.5% on 7.1 pull-up threes a game.
Compare that to Steph Curry in his 15-16 unanimous MVP season: 43.8% on 6.4 a game.
Haliburton is absurd right now. Appointment viewing.

Haliburton is the ultimate pass-first kind of guy, often reminiscent of Steve Nash during his Phoenix Suns days.
However, he’s also proven that he can put up 30+ points per game on any given night, and he’s pulling up from all three levels with the utmost confidence.
This Pacers team looks quite comfortable playing in the 120s night in and night out.
And while their defense needs some tweaks, it seems like they’re going to be able to just outscore and outrun every single team in the league for as long as Haliburton is pulling the strings of the offense.
As of now, he’s been an All-Star and All-NBA kind of player, and it wouldn’t be shocking to see him also become a top-3 MVP candidate for the season.
