The Indiana Pacers haven’t had much success since Reggie Miller retired from the NBA in 2005.
But the Pacers seem to have struck gold when they traded for Tyrese Haliburton during the 2021-22 NBA season.
Since then, Haliburton has become the cornerstone player for the franchise, and he will play in his second NBA All-Star game soon.
Reggie Miller recently made a huge statement about Haliburton and compared him to the likes of LeBron James, Nikola Jokic, and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
“Like we can do anything with this dude out there. And I see that…I really do believe that he can carry this team to a championship,” Miller said.
“He brings people together. If you watch Tyrese play, it’s never been about him. It’s been about us….The way his teammates look at him, they look at him like they look at LeBron, Jokic, Giannis. Like we can do anything with this dude out there. And I see that…I really do… pic.twitter.com/l8TTwjZ9pb

Miller mentioned that a huge skill that Haliburton possesses is not on the court, but it’s his ability to bring people together.
The Pacers legend claimed Haliburton’s teammates look at him like other players look at James, Jokic, or Antetokounmpo.
The biggest reason behind that is the fact that Haliburton has a team-first mentality.
Apart from dropping huge praise on Haliburton, Miller also made a bold prediction for the 2x NBA All-Star.
Miller believes that Haliburton has what it takes to lead the Indiana Pacers to an NBA Championship.
The Pacers are currently the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 31-25 record this season.
