The Indiana Pacers recently made a bold move to trade for one-time NBA champion Pascal Siakam to pair with fellow star Tyrese Haliburton, which many believe could be a dynamic duo in the years to come.
However, the Pacers seems to feel as though more can be done in order for this team to compete with the best of the best in the Eastern Conference and, as a result, have made two more notable names on the roster available ahead of the NBA trade deadline on February 8.
With the trade deadline only a couple of weeks away, the Pacers appear to be ready to be aggressive once again in an attempt to upgrade their roster by dangling sharpshooter Buddy Hield and high-flyer Obi Toppin as trade bait, according to Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints via NBACentral.

Hield has famously been on the trading block in Indiana for quite some time now, with a lot of talk of the Los Angeles Lakers eventually acquiring him and center Myles Turner in a blockbuster deal that never came to fruition.
Now that Hield is back on the trading block and shooting is highly valued around the league these days, it’ll be interesting to see what the Pacers can get in return for the elite shooter, especially if they add Toppin in a trade package.
With the Pacers not exactly being an attractive free-agent destination due to the team’s location, trades might be the only way this team can upgrade substantially, making Indiana an interesting team to watch moving forward.
