The Indiana Pacers are in playoff contention and Tyrese Haliburton is statistically having perhaps the best season of his career.
But that doesn’t mean that he is perfect all the time.
ClutchPoints reported that Haliburton is shooting just 9-of-47 from the three-point line over his last seven games.
That’s an average of just 19.1%.

Haliburton is putting up 20.7 points, 3.9 rebounds, and a league-high 11.4 assists per game.
However, his three-point percentage has dropped to a career-low 37% in 2023-24.
His field-goal percentage, while not a career-low, has dipped below last year’s number too.
Pacers fans shouldn’t be freaking out too much though because Haliburton is still very impactful on the court.
His assists alone are a huge benefit for Indiana and he is helping get multiple players involved at all times.
That being said, the Pacers have been underperforming during these last seven games, going 3-4.
It could be worse, of course, but that’s not the sort of record that fans are hoping for, especially at this point in the season.
The Pacers remain the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference and are holding a 37-30 record.
In the days ahead, they will face off against the Brooklyn Nets and Cleveland Cavaliers before they start a five-game road trip against teams like the Detroit Pistons, Los Angeles Lakers, Chicago Bulls, and others.
Although Haliburton is having trouble from beyond the arc, the season isn’t over yet and there is still plenty of time for him to find his rhythm.
For the first time in years, the Pacers are hoping to impress in the postseason.
That could be possible with Haliburton having shooting troubles but it’s far more likely if he gets hot from downtown again.
