Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner has been talked about as a possible trade target for multiple teams.
Again and again, rumors have said that the Los Angeles Lakers are angling to get Turner, who would presumably fix a lot of their problems.
Yet, the Lakers and other teams have so far resisted Tuner and he remains in Indiana.
The Pacers currently have a 5-5 record and are 8th in the East, which is actually better than most people expected.

As for Turner, he is having his best season yet, with an average of 18.4 points, 8 rebounds, and 1.6 assists.
He was next-level on Monday night, putting up 37 points, 12 rebounds, and 3 blocks in a win against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Turner was 61% from the field and nailed 4 of his 7 three-pointers.
He also sank every single one of his free throw attempts.
Will Turner’s phone start ringing soon?
Turner Taking Off
Fans of the Lakers are crying out for their team to trade for Turner.
He is clearly a center who is able to defend and shoot well at the same time.
He doesn’t always have games like his from Monday but when he does, they really count.
LA isn’t the only team that might be calling for Turner, he would fit in well with plenty of other squads across the NBA.
But the better he performs, the more the Pacers will demand for him.
His trade value has never been higher so any team that tries to acquire Turner – whether it be the Lakers or another – will have to pony up a lot to get him.
Turner is trying to keep his team in contention and, so far, he is.
This is making him even more attractive to other teams.
