The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will participate in the NFL’s first ever regular-season game in Germany.
They will face the Seattle Seahawks on November 13 at 9:30 a.m. ET as part of the league’s International Series.
The game will be played at Allianz Arena, the home of FC Bayern Munich.
This game will pull much attention from the large German fanbase, especially because of quarterback Tom Brady.
Imagine if Brady continued his retirement and the Buccaneers played in Germany.
It would be a difficult sell because Tampa Bay might not be that good of a team without him.
With the seven-time Super Bowl winner at the helm, the Buccaneers will be favored to win this game.
But as NFL Network’s Andrew Siciliano shared, Brady also has a record to maintain in these overseas matchups.
Tom Brady will be the first QB to start an @NFL game in three foreign countries.
United Kingdom: 2-0
Mexico: 1-0
Germany: ?— Andrew Siciliano (@AndrewSiciliano) May 4, 2022
Siciliano revealed that Brady will be the first quarterback to start an NFL game in three foreign countries.
More importantly, he is yet to lose in those games.
He won both times in the United Kingdom and another game in Mexico.
Winning over the Seahawks would improve his International Series record to 4-0 and they have the roster to dominate the Seahawks.
The Buccaneers Could Win A Blowout
The Seahawks could pull off a miracle and defeat the Buccaneers.
After all, no NFL team is invincible.
However, it’s hard to see that happening after Seattle lost Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos and Bobby Wagner to the Los Angeles Rams.
Seattle will have a young squad, but their starting quarterback slot is up for grabs.
Regardless of the winner, Brady will outclass Drew Lock, Geno Smith, or Jacob Eason.
Meanwhile, the Buccaneers still have a solid offense with Leonard Fournette, Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and newly-acquired wideout Russell Gage.
