While the Cleveland Cavaliers have made some moves so far in the offseason, there is one thing that have not done yet: re-sign Collin Sexton.
Sexton is a restricted free agent right now and most people expected to hear something about his future so far in free agency.
But the Cavs are currently sitting quiet and there hasn’t been much noise about other teams attempting to steal him away.
What gives?
Collin Sexton is 23 years old and has CAREER averages of 20 PPG on 46% shooting … who’s gonna sign him??

As Ben Stinar points out, Sexton posts an incredible stat: he’s just 23 years old and has career averages of 20 points per game on 46% shooting.
That’s a wildly impressive so why haven’t the Cavs stepped up and re-signed him?
Collin In Cleveland
Sexton is the sort of player who could be a starting guard – if not for the Cavaliers then for a different team.
It seems that the Cavs are attempting to figure out how Sexton fits in with the team’s future plan, especially alongside Darius Garland.
Sexton’s previous season was cut short because of a knee injury.
In his absence, the team came together and found a rotation that really works – and perhaps that is why Sexton’s future remains in doubt.
If Sexton does end up leaving the Cavs, there are plenty of teams who would be smart to grab hold of him immediately.
But any deal could be complicated because even though the Cavs aren’t moving quickly on Sexton, they also don’t want to lose him.
In the end, this could go either way: Cleveland could keep him for another few seasons or he could become a starter on another squad.
He’s definitely not done making noise in the league.
