You’ve gotta hand it to Kevin Love of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The guy has found his second wind, playing some of the best basketball of his career and helping the team make it further than it has been in years.
And he also made history on Tuesday, crossing a major NBA milestone.

As the Cavs note, Love just became the fourth player in NBA history with 14,000 points, 8,000 rebounds, and 1,400 three-pointers.
With that, he now stands alongside such basketball greats as Dirk Nowitzki, Jason Kidd, and LeBron James.
That is quite the company to keep.
Loving It
Love only played 25 games last season because of a calf injury but he came back swinging harder than ever.
Ever since becoming a bench player, he has been performing with enthusiasm and skill that he hasn’t showcased in years.
On average, he is landing 14.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 2.1 assists a game.
He doesn’t get as many minutes or glory as, say, Darius Garland, Evan Mobley, or Jarrett Allen but Love seems totally comfortable with that.
He perfectly understands his position with the team and has helped it tremendously.
It seems like when Love is doing well, the team follows and when he has a bad night, so does the rest of the squad.
He’s the sort of hard-working, determined veteran that the Cavs really needed and he’s a huge part of their successful season.
Love has always been one of the most dedicated guys in the NBA and really hasn’t gotten as much respect as he deserves.
This wonderful season that he and the Cavs are having is yet another reminder of just how special Love is.
