All eyes are currently on the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Due to the monster trade that got them Donovan Mitchell, the team is now getting the attention of practically every NBA fan.
To be fair, they were already beloved and showed a lot of promise.
They were certainly a team on the rise.

Part of their power came from young guys like Evan Mobley and Darius Garland.
But Kevin Love has been a vital part of the team’s resurgence and that should never be forgotten.
Love has been with this team since 2014 and has seen a lot of great success – and hard times – with them.
Through it all, Love has stuck it out and believed in Cleveland.
He was recently spotted in the gym, practicing his shot and working up a sweat.
Even with Mitchell on board, Love is showing no sign of slowing down.
Spreading The Love
During his tenure with the Cavaliers, Love has averaged 16.3 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 2.3 assists.
The forward is now 34 years old and has seen a limited amount of minutes over the last few seasons.
Additionally, he only started in 4 games out of 74 played last season.
Love produced 13.6 points a game in 2021-22, which is a step up from the season before.
But his point output is only part of what he brings to this team.
Love has learned a lot during his time in the NBA and has become one of the most seasoned vets in the league.
Now that he is playing with a team of young guys who haven’t had any time in the playoffs, Love is able to impart a lot of wisdom to them.
To them, he is serving as both a teammate and mentor.
