It was announced on Tuesday that Kevin Durant is going to stick around with the Brooklyn Nets.
Despite his repeated demands to leave the Nets, Durant is now settling down with his New York crew for yet another year.
It’s been a wild offseason for Durant with a lot of drama – but there has been some fun too.

In fact, just a couple of days ago, Durant was spotted in Portland, playing in a charity softball game for former Nets teammate Mike James.
Durant commented on his performance on Twitter, saying, “4-4 2 RBI’s for the first baseman.”
Now that he’s had his fun and has agreed to another season in Brooklyn, it’s time for Durant to focus on the task at hand: making the Nets a legitimately good team.
Durant At Bat
We didn’t get to see footage of Durant actually hitting a ball during the softball game so we don’t know how talented he is on the baseball diamond.
But we do know how great a player he is in the NBA.
He is literally one of the best basketball players alive but some people have lost sight of that due to all the drama swirling around him and the undeniably disappointing previous season for the Nets.
Durant is going to be laser-focused on turning around his team’s fate and getting them back on track in the 2022-23 season.
There is no denying the fact that the Nets only do very well when Durant is in fine form.
So he wants to avoid any injuries or incidents that sideline him and hurt his team’s chances of making it into the postseason.
Durant has much to do in the upcoming season and we will see if he’s truly ready for the challenge.
