There is no doubt that Donovan Mitchell is now one of the best players on the Cleveland Cavaliers.
In fact, it could be argued that he is the very best player on the team now.
Many fans think that Mitchell will have yet another stunning season now that he’s in Cleveland and will put up numbers and stats that no one else on the squad can reach.

He is starting the season as the most coveted player in the world of video game sports.
In terms of NBA 2K23 ratings, Mitchell is number one.
He has an 88 rating in the game, while Darius Garland attains an 87, Jarrett Allen has an 85, Evan Mobley has 84, Kevin Love is at 80, Caris LeVert and Ricky Rubio got a 78, and Isaac Okoro has a 75.
Those are pretty strong numbers across the board but it’s clear that the game – and many NBA fans – feel that Mitchell is now the leader of this crew.
Mitchell’s Metrics
Obviously, 2K23 is just a video game and it doesn’t have an actual influence on the season or the players in the NBA.
Yet, the game is a fairly accurate indicator of a player’s power and the way that fans view them.
A player with a high rating is usually quite good in real life too.
It’s hard to summarize an NBA player’s skill set with a single number but the game has been impressive with its ranking ability.
Mitchell’s 88 puts him as one of the better guards in the league and that’s definitely the case in the real world.
Depending on how the upcoming season goes, Mitchell’s number may only rise.
When 2K24 comes out next year, there is a chance that Mitchell could be breaking into the 90s.
