Most people didn’t expect big things from the Portland Trail Blazers this year.
The team didn’t make many changes in the offseason and they are lacking a lot of shining stars aside from Damian Lillard.
But there were questions about Lillard too because he was coming off of surgery and a lot of missed time on the court.
The Blazers would be lucky to even make the play-in, most NBA analysts agreed.
No slowing down for Damian Lillard this year, his averages:
33.3 PPG (5th)
5.5 RPG
5.3 APG (T4)Only 4-0 team in the league. ✅ pic.twitter.com/K8ezXj7nEm

Someone should have told the team because they have been playing their hearts out and are the only 4-0 team in the NBA currently.
As for Lillard, he looks as if he hasn’t missed a beat.
During his first four games, Lillard has averaged 33.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 4.3 assists.
The man looks as if he hasn’t aged a day and is once again one of the best guards in the association.
What’s the limit for this Blazers team?
Dame Time Returns
Even with a terrific start, the Blazers have a tough task ahead of them.
There is a lot of competition in their conference, and a lot of experience too.
However, the team has defeated some pretty formidable opponents already, including the Phoenix Suns and the Denver Nuggets.
So these wins haven’t been flukes.
Lillard has been stellar and has restored hope for many fans but there are others stars with Portland too.
Anfernee Simons has been sensational, and Jerami Grant has been as well.
Josh Hart is also putting up good numbers, and Jusuf Nurkic has grabbed 12.3 boards a game.
Suddenly, this roster looks much deeper than people expected.
The Blazers will attempt to keep their perfect score going when they take on the Miami Heat on Wednesday night.
