The New York Jets have managed to show some signs of life the past few weeks with Zach Wilson manning the offense.
The Jets picked up their second win of the 2023 NFL season and the first with Wilson starting against the Denver Broncos.
At 2-3, New York is technically still in the mix for the playoffs, though they have their work cut out for them as they try to navigate the rest of the regular season.
Fans are holding out hope that the team can remain competitive enough to make the postseason as there’s been some murmuring that Aaron Rodgers is pushing to return at some point.
Rodgers suffered his torn Achilles in Week 1 and immediately underwent surgery that could have him back sooner rather than later.
The quarterback has been present at Jets’ games and a recent video showed that he could be ahead of schedule in his rehab process via the team’s official Twitter account.

Rodgers can be seen riding on the cart and has no crutches on him.
More surprisingly, though, is that he gets off on his own and manages to walk into the locker room.
Although he’s got a noticeable limp, it’s amazing to see Rodgers up and about less than two months removed from surgery.
It’s hard to imagine him being able to get healthy enough to return to the field at any point this season, though players have shown it’s possible.
New York might want to play it safe and keep Rodgers away until next season, but there’s no denying that he’s on track to make a full recovery.
