Over the summer, Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton showcased his skills for Team USA when Steve Kerr’s new-look squad headed overseas to compete in the FIBA World Cup.
Even though the United States failed to live up to expectations during that tournament, finishing in fourth place, Haliburton showed those who haven’t been able to watch Pacers games on a regular basis that he is a talented player on the rise.
With only one nationally televised game during the 2023-24 NBA season, Haliburton hasn’t been able to show the league and its fans why he’s such a special player and a potential superstar in the making.
However, he has taken advantage of the extra exposure in the NBA’s first-ever In-Season Tournament, as he’s been able to help the team defy the odds by beating the Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks in consecutive games to reach the championship game in order to face LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Along with being in a position to win the first-ever NBA Cup for the Pacers, Haliburton is doing some historic things on the basketball court, as he has the most games in NBA history (3) with 25 points, 15 assists, and zero turnovers, according to ESPN’s Malika Andrews.
Another incredible performance for Tyrese Haliburton.
He now has three career games with 25 points, 15 assists and 0 turnovers — all this season.
That is the most all-time.

That’s a pretty impressive feat, considering great scorers and passers of the past, like Magic Johnson and Steve Nash, were never able to pull this off three times during their Hall of Fame careers in the NBA.
Needless to say, Haliburton is turning heads around the league and convincing many that he may be one of the NBA’s next superstars.
