It feels like we have heard talk of the Indiana Pacers trading Myles Turner for a couple of seasons now.
However, it’s always been just that: talk.
The team has never formulated a real package for Turner and he has stuck it out with them through thick and thin.

The team is seemingly still all-in on Turner as they posted an image of him in the gym, lining up a shot.
Turner is an undeniable talent but there is no doubt that if the right team and deal came along, he would be packing his bags and leaving Indiana.
What are the chances that he departs from the Pacers before the new season starts?
Turner Trade Talks
Turner has allegedly been tied to multiple teams during trade rumors but none more so than the Los Angeles Lakers.
LA was rumored to be on the hunt for Turner and Buddy Hield during this offseason.
As training camp quickly approaches, that proposal seems much less likely.
Apparently, the Lakers are really not willing to part with their first-round draft picks and they also want to save money ahead of the 2023 free agency.
That means that they aren’t attempting to land Turner, Hield, or any other big names right now.
Therefore, Turner will remain in Indiana, right?
Not so fast; the Pacers could still hear other offers throughout the league.
Even if nothing comes together before the season starts, it’s a near certainty that Indiana will be open to trading Turner in a few months.
When a player is attached to so many trade rumors, they usually end up getting traded.
It might not happen quickly, but it will most definitely happen eventually.
