Right now, everyone is talking about the Utah Jazz and how they gave away their star player, Donovan Mitchell.
Yes, the loss of Mitchell was shocking and super detrimental to the current status of the Jazz.
That is especially true on the heels of the Rudy Gobert trade from just a couple of months ago.
But this doesn’t mean that Utah doesn’t have any great players on the roster.

In fact, it could be time for players like Jordan Clarkson to step up even more.
Since 2020, Clarkson has averaged 16.8 points per game, was named 6th Man of the Year, and has the most points off the bench.
Clarkson could be the centerpiece of the Jazz moving forward – or he could be yet another trade asset sent away to a different squad.
Clarkson’s Career
Clarkson really has been quietly building an impressive stat sheet during his time with the Jazz.
Utah would be very smart to keep him around and use him as an essential part of the rebuilding process.
However, it’s also very likely that the team could decide to trade Clarkson away.
It wouldn’t be surprising at this point – the team is obviously committed to a serious rebuilding process so they might as well ship off anyone who could get them a good return from another team.
Clarkson would be worth a lot on the trade market, especially when you look at those numbers.
What team wouldn’t want a former 6th Man of the Year?
Right now, Clarkson is probably the best player in the Jazz’s lineup.
However, in just a few weeks he may be playing for a completely different team as Utah continues a major shakeup.
