The Utah Jazz are the 11th seed in the Western Conference right now, even with a ton of great young talent and potential.
For a while, it seemed like they wouldn’t make many changes but that might not be true anymore and they could be altering their roster soon.
According to Tim MacMahon, via NBACentral, the Jazz could be open to any number of trades, including one for Lauri Markkanen.
However, landing Markkanen will come with a hefty price tag.
“I’ve been told [Utah Jazz] will listen on anyone on the roster…With Markkanen, he’s not untouchable but it’s going to take one of your untouchables to get him,” MacMahon reported.

Markkanen is the centerpiece of the Jazz and, for some time, was an untouchable part of the roster.
He is scoring 23.6 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game on 48.8% from the field.
Markkanen had a breakout season last year and was seen as the future of the franchise.
Apparently, the Jazz are now open to hearing trade deals revolving around him, but they won’t give him up without a huge return.
Which team will be willing to part ways with an “untouchable” player to get Markkanen?
There are multiple teams throughout the league looking to create some changes within the next few weeks but do any of them have the sort of players that the Jazz want?
And, more importantly, are any of them willing to make such a deal?
The Golden State Warriors are a team hoping to make some alterations soon so will they pick up the phone and give the Jazz a call?
