For the last several seasons, Jordan Clarkson has been a very important part of the Utah Jazz, averaging 17.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 3.1 assists.
His output has been noted by many and even earned him Sixth Man of the Year a few seasons ago.
But his time with the Jazz could be coming to an end very soon, according to a new report.
Tony Jones is reporting, via Evan Sidery, that Clarkson would “welcome” a trade from the Jazz to the New York Knicks.
Reportedly, Clarkson’s agent, Rich Paul, met with the Knicks earlier this week to “settle previous tensions between Klutch Sports and the organization.”

Clarkson, a player known for his sharpshooting and assisting skills, has been putting up 17.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game so far this season.
He would certainly add a lot to the Knicks lineup and would leave a big hole in the Jazz’s roster.
Utah has been questioning its future recently, trying to figure out what moves they should make, if any.
The team is sitting as the tenth seed in the West with a 25-26 record and is contemplating some changes.
There was a time when it seemed like the Jazz wouldn’t do anything, intent on finding success with the roster they have now, but they may be reassessing that position.
The Jazz would have a lot of trade assets if they decided to go down this route but Clarkson would be one of the top ones.
This rumor is important because it impacts the future of both teams but it also shows that Paul’s Klutch Sports is finally mending the relationship it has with the Knicks, which could have a huge influence on what’s to come for a number of players around the NBA.
