The Utah Jazz might be on the verge of committing a few substantial changes.
Earlier today, it was reported that the Jazz aren’t opposed to the idea of trading Lauri Markkanen and now comes a report that states other players could be on the market too.
According to Marc Stein, the Jazz are “open to trading Collin Sexton.”
Stein, via NBACentral, says that Sexton, Jordan Clarkson, and Kelly Olynuk are “frequently mentioned by rival executives as players Utah is believed to be willing to trade.”

Sexton has played two seasons with the Jazz, having moved over from the Cleveland Cavaliers, where he started his career in 2018.
During his two years with the Jazz, Sexton has averaged 14.1 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game.
When he came over from the Cavaliers, Sexton had high hopes of claiming a starting spot with the Jazz and becoming a vital part of the team’s lineup.
He has had trouble breaking through the rest of the roster and has only started in 17 games over two seasons.
With this news of a possible trade looming, it’s obvious that Sexton could be on the move to another team in the future.
It is also obvious that the Jazz are contemplating major roster shakeups.
The fact that Sexton, Clarkson, Olynyk, and possibly Markkanen could be traded shows that the Jazz are ready to change things and are focused on rebuilding.
That’s not too surprising considering they are struggling and currently the 12th team in the Western Conference.
The Jazz have been one of the smartest teams when it comes to trades over the last couple of seasons.
Therefore, if Sexton does get moved, the Jazz might acquire a lot in return for him.
