It’s crazy to realize that Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers has been in the NBA for ten years now.
A Weber State prospect back in 2012, Lillard was the sixth overall pick in the draft, selected by the only team he’s ever called home.
Lillard has done a lot of great things for the Blazers and is easily one of the best guards in the game.

Anyone watching him during his first NBA games during the 2012 Summer League knew he was something special.
The NBA recently posted a video highlighting some of Lillard’s work back then and he was playing with the same sort of explosiveness and attitude that has been his trademark for all these years.
He has become the savior for the Blazers but will they have him much longer?
Breaking Up With The Blazers?
Rumors about Lillard’s displeasure with his team have been floating around for a couple of seasons now.
That is because the team has consistently come up short, even with Lillard on board.
The latest reports say that the team is offering Lillard a huge deal to extend his contract for a few more years; however, insiders say that the star guard isn’t completely sold on the idea just yet.
This next season is really make-or-break for the Blazers and Lillard: if it goes well, he will likely be inclined to stick around and if it doesn’t he will most certainly demand a trade.
He is just getting over a major injury and surgery but Lillard has shown no signs of slowing down and will likely remain one of the best guys in the NBA.
In other words, most teams would move heaven and earth to get him if he says goodbye to Portland.
